AVG Free Antivirus reports virus in skr1.dll
The reported virus is Downloader Swizzor. This is a false message about virus. AVG is informed but has not adjusted the problem.
If you are using Novapoint on a PC with AVG Free antivirus:
Add exception in Resident Shield
Open AVG User interface
Select Tools – Advanced Settings
Select Resident Shield – Exceptions
Select Add path
Goto Novapoint Installation diectory and select Binaries
Ex. C:\Program Files\Vianova\Novapoint\18.00\Binaries
Select Apply
This will inform AVG to not execute any virus check on 18.00\Binaries directory
If skr1.dll have been moved to Virus Vault:
Restore the file from Virus Vault
Select History – Virus Vault
Select Virus Vault
Find the file skr1.dll and select.
Right-click and select Restore
To avoid that AVG removes skr1.dll while updating Novapoint, disable AVG Antivirus during update.
